Our USDA Organic Irish Moss is wild harvested and sustainably sourced from Peru to deliver 100% wholesome nutrition. This is a popular Sea Plant, a type of seaweed/algae, that delivers the refreshing taste and smell of the ocean. It has been known to be naturally full of essential nutrients, including iodine, and has been used for both medicinal and nutritional purposes throughout the ages. This is an all-natural, plant based superfood supplement that is a must-have addition to your diet.

Did you know?

The term “Irish Sea Moss” has a fascinating history and has nothing to do with where a particular seaweed species comes from, but rather how a group of people used it for nutrition to survive the Irish Potato Famine in the 1840’s.

Suggested use

Use as a thickening agent or to add texture to vegan baked goods or your favorite recipe. Great in smoothies, yogurt, teas or as a seasoning.
